Birmingham City University
During my time at Birmingham City University I spent several Saturday's assisting with open days and interview days for prospective students.
This entailed me communicating to parents and prospective students how the course works from a students point of view.
Conducting tours around the univeristy and answering any questions that visitors may have had.

Brook Stables - Groom
During the four years I spent at the ridding school, I started off being a Groom and looking after 34 horses.
It was my responsibility to ensure that all horses were fed, watered and in good health when they came in in the morning.
It was also entrusted to make sure that all the horses were tacked up and ready for their lessons with the correct students.
As I gained the trust and confidence of the stable, I started to take lessons and lead out rides around the fields and the woods.
I really enjoyed interacting and communicating with my students in order to reach a goal which resulted in them improving from week to week.
Teaching allowed me to develop my communication skills and helped sharpen my mind for reacting to quick changing circumstances.
Whilst I was at the Riding stables I also sat and passed my Stage 1 BHS Riding and stable management exams.
I also underwent training for my BHS Road Safety exam.
